This is my first time playing a Legend of Mana game so I know very little about them. What I do know is that the magic system worked well for me since it’s more involved then just your usual JRPG. It was pretty much game where the enemies just attack you, which is kind of dull. The overworld map and dungeons were where the battles took place but I never had any real problem finding battles in my party since they almost always went into a dungeon first. The battles were easy to manage with just a few spells but you’ll find yourself memorizing mana types and the location and timing of when each spell is best used. The overworld map looks nice and the game is kinda free with a few gold coins you can buy with wood, food, and potions.

Overall, this was a fun game since it’s very easy to play, but it’s also got a pretty strong RPG gameplay. It’s short but still has the simple missions that hook you to keep playing over and over. Not a strong game in any way, but a fun one.
