1. Panel View The dedicated EQ panel provides a quick overview of what the plug-in is doing and how it can be configured for your needs. The EQ panel also provides instant visual reference of what settings are active. 2. Colour Controls The EQuality algorithm automatically generates an array of frequencies to be boosted, cut and reinforced. These ranges will automatically change depending on the input, but the main parameters of gain, width and frequency can be manually controlled. Once you are happy with these settings, they can be saved for future use. Additionally, you can choose which of the 11 colour settings for EQ can be enabled for a specific input. The most important part of the EQ process is to work through the EQ dialogs and take a good look at each of the band descriptions, set preferences and observe the quality of the result. For truly human-readable EQ results, the 12×12 matrix is the way to go. This is an essential tool for really fine-tuning your EQs – be it a good, bad or ugly EQ. 3. Manual Modes Apart from the automatic modes, you also have a high quality fully configurable manual mode to work with. For truly fine-grained control and full control over the EQ, the manual mode offers an enormous amount of parameters in 19 different groups. All of these groups can be set independently and even when the parameter changes they will not alter their own group value, but only their individual properties. This is a great way of working with more settings in less time, since you do not need to step through all the different bands and groups again. You can also choose which of the 11 colour settings for EQ can be used. 4. Spectrum Analyzer The spectrum analyzer is the only plug-in where the user will be able to analyse the signal path and observe the quality of the result in the extremely clear and user-friendly spectrum visualization. This gives you a look at all the elements that go into the final result, and helps you to decide if further adjustments are needed. 5. USB Audio Interface EQuality supports recording and playback via a USB Audio Interface for convenience in the recording environment. The interface supports 32-bit/96k and 24-bit/192k sample rates and the plug-in has plenty of internal effects to perform different types of compression, expansion and distortion with perfect sound quality. The first one can be used to conveniently delay any channel, and more importantly, every one of the channels in an audio track.
