The beauty of Switzerland does not need to be doubted. The many mountains covered in snow make this country located in western Europe even more interesting to visit. When Avians go on vacation to Switzerland, don’t let Avians try the country’s traditional foods which are certainly very diverse and delicious. Anything, huh? Check it out below!

1. Fondues

Quoting from brook house deli Fondue is a typical Swiss dish in the form of melted cheese served in a pan. During the manufacturing process, cheese can be mixed with wine, lemon juice, and garlic to make it taste even more delicious. Fondue is usually eaten with bread as a sauce. Hmmm, looks delicious, huh!

2. Rösti

These foods are like pancakes, but made from fried or baked potatoes. To make it even more delicious, rosti can usually be mixed with beef, cheese and shallots during the manufacturing process. This dish can also be served with eggs, minced meat, spring onions, and smoked salmon.

3. Papet vaudois

It turns out that this delicious food is only made from 3 ingredients, namely sausage, green onions, and potatoes. The potatoes are boiled for hours and mixed with pounded chives. Then when serving, added sausage and shallots. Looks simple and delicious, huh! Interested in trying?

4. Landjager

Landjager is a Swiss semi-dry sausage made from ground pork, beef, beef tallow, sugar, spices and red wine. Apparently, the word Landjager itself means land hunter! This is because this typical Swiss food is often eaten by hunters and adventurers while traveling.

5. Bircher müesli

When Avians visit Switzerland, they must try this favorite breakfast dish. Bircher müesli is made from a combination of wheat flakes, various fruits, nuts, lemon juice and milk. Already delicious, healthy again!
