It’s main goal is to be easy to use. The file is loaded in a JFrame. All the most useful options are placed in a panel on the bottom.
The user can:
Save
– Save the file (SaveAs for Unix)
– Save the file, the user can choose the directory and name
– Close
– Open
– Save As (for Unix)
– Print
– Close
– Show the version (for Unix)
– Close
– Show the help (for Unix)
– Close
Usage:
Copy the properties-editor.jar to your classpath and run it from a JFrame. No additional dependencies required.
To open a properties file, type:
properties-editor.jar filename.properties
To save changes to the file, type:
properties-editor.jar filename.properties
To print the properties file (without changes) type:
properties-editor.jar filename.properties
