Marjorie Norton (1907 – August 22, 1998) was an American advertising executive who served as director of the United States Census Bureau from 1958 to 1962.

Life and career
Norton was born in Manhattan. She graduated from Ohio State University in 1930. She worked for the National Bureau of Economic Research from 1931 to 1935. In 1935, she joined the Bureau of the Census. In 1940, she became a partner at Foote, Cone and Belding, a Washington advertising agency. She became the director of that firm in 1951. She was also an executive with Ogilvy & Mather and left in 1972 to work at the American National Bank.

She was a member of the Republican Party, and a delegate to its 1952 and 1956 conventions. She was a member of the board of trustees of the National Commission on the Causes and Prevention of Violence and the National Commission on the Reform of Federal Criminal Laws. She was the chair of the Commission on the Organization of the Executive Branch of Government, and a member of the advisory council of the Institute for Public Affairs, which aimed to be a counterweight to the Soviet Union.

Norton was a delegate to the 1959 U.S. Delegation to the Council of Europe.

Norton died of cancer at the Georgetown University Hospital in 1998.
